The property staff was friendly, prompt and overall outstanding. This applies to the front desk, serving staff in the restaurant, employees in the market and more. The location was perfect. The lakeside view from our room, amazing. We were very pleased with our stay overall.

We had a lovely room with a beautiful view. We appreciated the well stocked market on property for snacks, etc. The location was perfect for sight-seeing near the River Walk area and fine dining, etc.
Great area near Riverwalk and Millennium Park and Grant Park. Many fun options for things to do in the city near by. Cheaper parking can be found at Millennium parking garage a few blocks up the street.

This place - wow - I may sound hyperbolic but it was a dream come true. The views, the location, the building, amenities. They are SO BEAUTIFUL. I want to cry just thinking about our first trip to Chicago. We had a beautiful room that overlooked the Chicago River. The absolute best part of our stay was Kira - who checked us in. We had a red eye from Los Angeles. We thought we’d arrive and the adrenaline would start pumping. Sadly, it did not. This was also a day where there were flash floods in the area. We were tired, soaked, and getting a little irritated. I felt RIDICULOUS asking if we could check in early around 9AM! I thought there was no way! I thought we’d be laughed at! I thought we’d be charged an extra fee of a billion dollars. But no! Kira was SO SO nice and understanding, and I could NOT believe she got us that early. No extra fee, especially on the busy NASCAR weekend. So just smiled and handed me the key. Look Hyatt Regency, give this woman a raise. Honestly. I know this is a first world problem - but we really, really weren’t doing well with lack of sleep and being soaked to the bone. She really made sure we were taken care of. I truly do think of Kira as our guardian angel in Chicago. THANK YOU, KIRA! And the funny thing is, I can’t imagine she’d remember us. I am sure she works little miracles like this daily. But she made all the difference in our trip and our stay at the Hyatt. And she made Chicago the best city I have ever visited!
