This is a great spot on the upper west side, located less than 2 blocks from the 1 train. My room was spacious and clean but the hot water took at least 10 minutes to heat up and never got steaming hot. Staff was very nice, the lobby is great for hanging with friends, drinking, chilling. Breakfast pastries are delicious (and kosher!!)

Nice place but less boutique and unique than the pictures made it out to be. Hard to describe. I suppose it was the amount we spent on the room which did not seem on par with the room itself. Bathroom left a lot to be desired. Stainless steel countertop?! Worn out bathroom too. Mostly nice staff though some people need to remember to smile. False advertising about ''free continental breakfast'' as a VIP member which only meant a free hot coffee and pastry which was dissapointing.

No hand soap in bathroom. Waited 2 hours for staff to tell us they didn't have any. NO HAND SOAP, WHAT! Orbitz gave me 2 complimentary breakfast for being a gold member, but hotel didn't know anything about it. Had to call Orbitz 2 times, hotel said they don't know anything about it. Finally worked it all out, but just not a smooth first night.
The public space/lobby is fantastic--vibrant at all times of the day. Very well-executed and laid out. Will stay here again.
The room is tiny without a window. One elevator broke for 3 days and it took forever to get in/out
The location is great. Close to good restaurants. Easy access to the subway. 24 hour CVS across the street. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were not cozy and didn’t seem as clean as they could be.

This was just an awesome place to stay while visiting NY I love visiting the big apple can't wait to come back. The people from all over the world reming me of home.
